How to Measure Your Head for an Accurate Fez Size:
Keep in mind when ordering that your hairstyle will determine the size you need. To measure your head exactly where the hat will sit, use a flexible tape measure (or a length of string that you can hold up to a ruler). Place the tape or string around your head about 1/8" above your ear and across the mid-forehead, completely circling your head. Hold the tape firmly, but not too tightly. If your final measurement falls between sizes, always choose the next largest size.
