In my first year as a member of the Order, I was appointed to the station of Adah. There many times when I sat up late at night and read the materials over and over again, searching for the description of was expected of me. I knew deep inside myself that my position as a star point was not just know my part and sit through the meetings. There had to be more, and I was open and in joyful anticipation of what that More was.
I needed a guide to tell me just HOW to do things and WHAT was expected of me. I wanted to be of service, and as the year progressed, I realized I wasn't the one that needed a little help. That need as the inspiration for this book. I truly hope that as read these pages that it can bring some guidance to you in your journey as a member of the Order of the Eastern Star.
