Briscoe Manuscript or Pamphlet.
A printed pamphlet issued in 1724 (2nd ed. in 1725), containing an explanation of how the ”Grand Secret” was discovered; a version of the Gothic Constitutions (Sloane family); criticisms of Anderson’s Constitutions of 1723, and a dictionary of numerous secret signs supposed to be used among Freemasons.
