Bode, Johann Joachim Christoph.
A distinguished German Freemason, born 1730, died, 1793. He translated into German Bonneville’s The J*suits driven from Freemasonry, and their weapons broken by the Freemasons, which had been published in 1788. He joined but afterwards opposed the Strict Observance (q.v.), and he also belonged to the Illuminati.
