Ashe, Rev. Jonathan, D.D. Author of The Masonic Manual; or Lectures on Freemasonry, published at Bristol, England in 1814; second edition 1825. An edition of 1843 was published by Spencer, with notes by Dr. George Oliver. Much of the book was copied from Hutchinson’s Spirit of Masonry (1775) without giving credit.
