Arch of Steel

Arch of Steel. This is formed by two knights or two lines of knights, facing each other and crossing swords near the points, thus, forming an arch. It is the common ceremony for receiving the officers of a Grand Commandery, Grand Encampment, or Great Priory of Knights Templar in a Commandery; also receiving an Active member of the Supreme Council 33rd Degree in the Northern Jurisdiction A.A.S.R.
