Alliance, Sacred. A little known compact among twenty-one Scottish Rite 33rd degree Masons in New York, who met annually to commemorate the peace reached in the Northern Supreme Council of the United States, breaking a deadlock which had existed therein. The alliance continued until all were deceased.
