Admission. The terminology surrounding entry into the Fraternity has varied. While accepted became part of the Society's name, terms like entered, initiated, or made are more common today. Historically, admitted sometimes meant signing the by-laws and paying a fee to become a member after initiation. See QUALIFICATIONS OF CANDIDATES.
